The Engineering Education Scheme in Wales

Are you currently in the lower 6th form and looking for an opportunity to apply your studies to real-life challenges? Together with a small group of like-minded friends, you could get some valuable hands-on experience of engineering with a local company through the Engineering Education Scheme. It is likely to help you to make more informed careers decisions such as which engineering or science degree to study at university.

Companies provide a real industrial problem for the team to tackle. Working with a teacher and an industrial mentor, the team brainstorms and researches solutions and turns the best idea into reality. Some teams have saved their company thousands of pounds by innovative and effective solutions to these real problems!
